The Progressive Suspension 412 Series Heavy-Duty shock absorber pair is designed for selected Harley-Davidson Sportster XL and XR models. The gas-charged monotube design, progressive springs, and five-way adjustable spring preload allow for load-specific tuning of the rear suspension.

IMPORTANT NOTE
For XL models up to and including model year 2015, it may be necessary to adjust or space out the chain or belt guard for sufficient clearance. If the shock absorber length differs from the series length, clearance and possible contact with the exhaust, swingarm, guard, or tire must be checked before installation. Specific road approval must be checked against the current certificate.
