Information on the Waste Oil Ordinance (AltölV)

Waste Oil Return

In accordance with the Waste Oil Ordinance (AltölV), Medusa Bikes® will take back free of charge the quantities of internal combustion engine, gear, and motor oils purchased from us and ensure their professional and environmentally sound disposal.

The return also includes oil filters and oily waste regularly generated during oil changes (e.g., rags, cloths, or workshop materials).

The return quantity is limited to the quantity purchased from us.

Alternatively, returns by mail are possible, with shipping costs to be borne by the customer. When shipping, waste oil and oily waste must be marked as dangerous goods and packaged in suitable, sealed containers. The respective shipping regulations of the chosen shipping service provider must be observed.

Waste oil must not be disposed of with household waste or wastewater.
